This 1958 Porsche 356A Cabriolet is said to have been acquired in 1990 by the current owner, who subsequently commissioned an engine rebuild from Honest Engine of Costa Mesa, California. The 1.6-liter flat-four features dual Zenith downdraft carburetors with Knecht air cleaners, while shifting is via a four-speed manual transaxle. The car is finished in red with a black convertible top over red leather upholstery, and is further equipped with aftermarket AM/FM cassette stereo as well as 15″ ventilated steel wheels and Koni shocks. Recent work is noted to have involved overhauling the hydraulic drum brakes, rebuilding the carburetors, and servicing the fuel system.
The Reutter-built body is said to have left the factory finished in silver and was repainted in its current red finish under prior ownership.
