1971 Mercedes Benz 280sl

This is a two owner car since new. Sold new in the state of California. It has 70,200 original miles. Please note all the documentation, all the books, all the records, everything. This car has one of the best undersides that I have seen in a very long time. See the photographs of the rear valance, perfect and never changed. Both front fenders are all original. I have the correct numbered hood and the correct hard top with defroster window. This car was built in the beginning of 1971 so it is one of the last 280SL's produced. The interior is all original including the door panels and carpeting and looks really nice. It has an almost new looking canvas soft top. The trunk is solid with light typical surface rust due to the rubber mat. Nothing to worry about and easily cleaned. The car really runs and drives nicely. Good brakes and no noise from the power steering. It will be very hard to locate another 280SL in this condition.
