All restored

Silver with blue leather interior, center console, floor shift, air conditioning and the power sunroof is the best configuration possible in this classic collectible Mercedes model. The car available here was the recipient of a complete ground up restoration stripped to bare metal top and bottom front to back with new paint professionally applied and color sanded and buffed. All new weather stripping was installed with new chrome and leather upholstery upon assembly. The wood was redone as was all the interior trim and dash pieces to complete the new look of the interior even the underside of the dash was completely detailed and has all panels in place, detailed down to the Mercedes logo floor mats. The air conditioning system was restored and blows cold air along with the radio restored and power antenna to complete the luxurious ride of a classic Mercedes as originally enjoyed. The chrome was redone at the time of restoration and as the pictures show, everything you see seems to have been given attention to detail when assembling the car. Mechanically the motor and transmission were overhauled as was the rear end with all four corners of the suspension and brake system all being very detailed before reassembling. The entire underside of the car was detailed along with the trunk compartment before installing the mechanical components to the car. The motor was cosmetically detailed with all the components being over hauled in the engine compartment as well, including the wiper motor brake power assist unit and on and on with nothing looking untouched under the hood. The trunk is excellent complete with tool kit jack and spare and card board inner fender panels. With 6000 miles put on the car since restoration it has been well sorted and is a very enjoyable driver that has a wonderful feel when sitting behind the steering wheel. Mercedes is one of the most expensive cars to restore with classic parts bringing a premium price. Well under half the price it would cost to restore a car to this level, offered is an exceptional opportunity to acquire a completed classic at some of the previous owner’s expense.
