1964 Porsche 356 SC
This is a matching number original SC version of the 356 C model with the original Solex carburetors professionally rebuilt with new throttle shafts and housings fit at the time of a complete motor rebuild including main and rod bearings still standard, new cam shaft, new big bore kit all new valves and springs along with the machine work that was done it was given a new oil cooler, distributor, fly wheel and muffler when being assembled with painted and detailed metal tin and oil canister for the total of 9997.00 being spent on the motor alone all shown on receipts and having very few miles since being done. The entire car was repainted professionally, color sanded and buffed with new weather stripping and deco moldings and new front and rear window moldings with their new seals. The under side of the car was all detailed and sprayed in a thin sealant and looks very clean. This part of the process was another 9500.00 all shown on the receipt from paint with the undercoating and the parts bought for the car. Then it took the gauges overhauled and new German square weave carpeting. The original chrome window frames in the doors and rear quarters are excellent with no signs of blemishes so they were reinstalled after paint. New chrome was done on all other parts you see on the out side. With all this work done the car has now been driven very little and is in excellent detailed condition. The car has a nice fit and finish when you look it over and very comfortable drive in the leather seats behind the stock dash with original radio and speaker grills installed. This car still retained a lot of its original factory assembled components. With a lot of money spent to restore this car after the owner had it many years they have decided to sell it as they; like the car, have gotten older.
