1964 Mercedes 230sl

One of the earliest models built with the vertical spare tire holder still on the driver’s side in the trunk compartment. We just acquired this one from the original owner. Looking un-restored and mostly as delivered from the factory in original white with brown interior this is a very nice example. The owners bought it in Europe and brought it home never changing the European headlamps, marker lamps or kilometer gauge so the car retains its European distinguishing parts. Excellent body and trunk floor with original fenders and spot welds along with the inner front fender headlamp markings signifying the straight original body. The rare 4spd model is running and driving with a new exhaust system and the motor sounds nice. The interior seems original the paint looks to have had a re-spray many years ago and the chrome is excellent. Both hard top and soft are on the car and the optional kinder seat is in the back as delivered from new. See the pictures a very nice original example in operable condition that could use some freshening up as the car is well deserving and was always cared for.
