For sale today is a 1959 Jaguar XK150 Drop Head This is a car that was sold new in the State of California in 1959. This car has only two owners. The second owner placed this car in storage in 1970, where he started to build his small collection of rare automobiles. This car was sold new in the color combination of Old English White with Red Leather interior. The first owner decided to have the exterior paint resprayed in a Dark Navy Blue. Only the exterior paint was resprayed. The engine compartment still remains in it's old English White color. This XK150 is very rust free and accident free. Both the front fenders on this Jaguar are perfect. The aluminum hood is un-damaged and still has it's perfect fit for the front grille. The frame underneath is in excellent condition. All the instruments, as well as the horn button are also in good condition. Most of the interior remains in it's factory original. It will need to be restored as will the rest of this beautiful Jaguar. The car comes with it's original engine and gearbox, numbers matching on the head and block. This is a car that needs to be restored, but how many XK's out of Southern California are actually left. Most of them are accounted for through Jaguar Clubs throughout the World.
