1968 Mercedes Benz 280sl

Finished in silver with black leather interior the color combination makes for an elegant vintage sports car. This car was restored and never used always being kept in the garage so the paint is outstanding professionally done with a spectacular finish. The restoration seems to have been done on a collision free body as the spot welds surrounding the front fenders and nose look factory assembled. Solid trunk panel and straight detailed floor pans show they started with a rust free solid platform. The proper body belt marks continue around the front headlamps to the inner fender as new. Nice leather interior and restored dash show the quality in the restoration work along with new weather stripping and chrome make for a nicely presented early 280SL The 2 top car has a new soft top with a small blemish from folding and a restored hard top painted with a new headliner. This is a collector quality example of the model that would cost much more to get into this condition then we are asking.
