1965 Corvette 327/365

This is a very rare find, a factory triple black solid lifter 327/365 horse power convertible. 1965 was the first year for 4-wheel disc brakes and the last year for a solid lifter 327. Original numbers matching motor, (November 30, 1964 casting date) correct dated heads, dated 370 positraction third member (with a 308 gear installed for freeway driving), power brakes with a 1967 style dual master cylinder, M20 4-speed transmission, knock off wheels, leather seats, and its Delco AM/FM radio. We purchased this car from a muscle car collector in Las Vegas who loved it and always had any little problem fixed immediately by his Corvette Mechanic. What the car did need was a cosmetic freshening, so it has had a professional paint job, new chrome, all the stainless polished, new whether strips, new carpet, soft top frame striped and painted, new soft top with whether strips, and engine compartment disassembled and painted properly. It now looks as good as it runs and drives. Never a hick-up, miss, ping, or running hot just a fast smooth running car that goes down the freeway at 2400 rpm in fourth gear. You would not think twice about jumping in it for trip up the coast to Monterey this summer.
