1964 Jaguar XKE Roadster

Here the pictures tell the story a beautiful color combination with the rarely ordered factory accessory Steele hardtop. Some one was thinking to get the hard top, so as to enjoy both the coupe style of driving when looking to lower road noise while traveling or stay better protected form the weather and still be able to remove it for some sunshine, with the soft top always ready in case a quick cover up was needed again. The car was completely restored by a well known local jaguar restoration shops owner as his personal car. The motor and gear box were overhauled and updated with a first gear syncro box for better driving ability. The car was disassembled for the paint and mechanical restoration receiving new weather stripping, cadmium plating, chrome plating, and complete leather interior with canvas soft top. The owner of the shop used all his best parts on this car so the car is in wonderful driving condition with many updates for comfort ability in Jaguars series one covered headlight design. If the classic look and nostalgic design are what you’re after in classic sports car this one is spectacular offering the 2 tops and unique color combination that separate it from other examples of the same model.
