1963 Split Window Coupe

For sale today is a California black plate car just purchased out of Riverside California, which at first glance will not get the new owner an originality award from Bloomington or the NCRS. Yes the motor has been changed, and the original Sebring Silver color is missing, and some modifications have been added since the car left St Louis 45 years ago. For the aspiring originality critic, here is a small list of some of those changes. The hood has been replaced with a stinger hood, the very popular third tail light has been added, a B+M blower with all the speed shop attachments to a late model aluminum head motor, four wheel disc brakes, some 70’s period “drilled Enki’s”, and the cloth interior. For the buyer who really knows what a good 1963 Corvette should have and the parts that are hard to replace, a solid non bent rust free frame, its original fiberglass head light buckets, correct doors, seats, center console, gauges, seat belts, and all the inner outer window trim. This car does start and stop but has not been driven in a few years. It will need a service, new tires, brakes checked, or an excellent candidate for a complete nut and bolt restoration. We have clear California title in hand and currently registered until November 2009.
