1963 Corvette Split Window Coupe

The first year for the second generation Corvette and named Sting Ray because if its resemblance with the ocean animal. After 1963 GM bowed to critics and removed the split window for better visibility but the name remained. 21,513 1963 Corvettes were ever built and this is car 8800. It is early enough to still have the storage compartments under the seats, long base drivers mirror and roller gas door lid. Other 1963 only items are fiberglass head light buckets, complete stainless trim from windshield to wing window, fake grills in the hood and color matching steering wheel. This car was optioned from the factory as a 327/300 horse power with a four speed. It is an older repaint that still shows very well. There is no signs of any body work that has been done. Dry rust free frame with a very nice interior, ready to drive and enjoy.
