1973 Lotus "Europa Twin Cam Special"

This car was recently released from a Southern California Auto Museum. The car has a very good look to it, very nice paint, good chrome, and nice interior. Even the wooden dash is in very nice condition. Most of them are faded and or cracked from the sun. This is a car that is extremely original. Very nice front end and no fiberglass repair has been done. The car is fitted with the original and correct Lotus Twin Cam Overhead engine that puts out 126 horsepower at 6,500 RPM. It would certainly not hurt this car to take it out for a good run after years of storage from the Museum. All suspension and underside is all correct and again, no damage. All windows and glass are also in good condition. This model, Europa Special, also has the hard-to-find 5 speed gearbox, which is geared towards high performance. Earlier models only had the 4 speed. This car is also fitted with two gas tanks, one on each side of the back, which totals fifteen gallons. The Special also was improved with more leg and foot room and better sound proofing. It also has been fitted with light weight Panasport wheels and Yokohama tires. If you are in the market for a Europa, the Special is the one to have.
