1971 Mercedes Benz 280 SL

We purchased this sleeping beauty from the same owner since 1973 in her garage kept castle. It has been off the road since 1984. It has just had a major service with all the fluids changed, new brakes, tires, …anything it needed. The car drives unbelievable. Look at the photos. This example that still sports its original soft top, interior, and most of its paint. There are paint blends on the front of the hood and from the belt line down on the doors. Note the original crease in the headlights, look at the photos of the trunk, the original spot welds on the inner fenders, this is virgin car. There are no rust issues or stories. The paint does have some door dings scratches and marks, but for 32 years old still looks very good. The car comes with original tools and books. The radio turns on but does not play music, the a/c blows “cool” but not cold and the rubber heal mat on the drivers side is deteriorating. We have put a couple of hundred miles since the service and this car has never missed a beat.
