1968 Shelby GT500

In the Shelby registry, but off the road since 1977.

Titled with a California pink slip as a Shelby manufactured car! We just picked this diamond in the rough up out of Palmdale CA (Space Shuttle landing strip) were it has been sitting waiting for a restoration. Years worth of sonic booms did not wake her from her near 30 year rest. All original body panels, surface rust only, and boxes of NOS parts to complete the restoration. The car was delivered in Baltimore and made its way to Bakersfield CA while still very young. In 1975 this snake wound up resting in a ditch and busted up the front fiberglass. It was parked ( the last registration California is 1977) and pieces started to drift away from there rightful home. The last owner acquired it and started gathering all the parts to start a complete restoration. All the new fiberglass pieces go with car, except the hood which is repairable, a set of ten spokes still in the Tony Branda boxes, correct heads, and 428 block. The soft interior parts are missing. All the windows are in good condition.
