1967 Corvette with 51k original miles.

This Corvette was purchased back in the mid 80’s with 51k original miles on it out of Los Angeles, by a Sacramento couple who had devised a blue chip retirement plan. Buy a nice original low mileage car from the Los Angeles area and bring it home and place it in the barn until we need the money. And that is just what they did. In the end they had two 1963 split window coupes, a 1956 2x4 roadster, a yellow 1967 coupe and the car you see listed her. It has not been registered since 1985 and still retains its original black plates, Harry Mann license frame, and an old California Pink slip. The car was all original with an inch of dust on it when she and her four siblings woke from hibernation last year. Original, but tired Silver paint on a virgin no hit body, original motor, dated carburetor, dated radiator, all original interior, and rust free California frame. Since that time all the fluids have been changed the engine compartment cleaned up and a show quality paint job from Paint-n-Place of Placentia California. I left the door jambs in their original lacquer. All the mechanicals are sorted out and the car drives better then any restored car. Doors shut effortlessly, no drop or sag, transmission shifts clean, brakes are firm, and motor pulls strong with no smoke. All the gauges work except the clock, courtesy lights, radio, wiper, head lights all in proper working order. Documentation includes the original tank sticker preserved under glass. This is one of the finest midyear Corvettes for driving and enjoying you will find on the market today.
