1967 Camaro RS/SS 396
We bought this car around the corner from the shop were it had been sitting since 1976. The previous owner started a restoration then and never finished. There are NOS GM R/S fenders and
nose section still in the GM boxes. The motor and transmission are from a blue 396/325 RS/SS Camaro. When he
started the body was so beat up from previous accidents he felt a donor body would be better. His father removed
the vin plate and trim tag from the blue car to use on the new body (the red car). After taking what parts they needed the body was discarded
years ago. The red car was a V8 A/C car and has a 12 bolt rear axel with no trim tag. That is why there are two
steering columns and other interior parts are duplicated. The motor and transmission are factory stamped matching
number units. I do not know the internal condition but the seller said the motor was strong and would not need
anything (30 years ago). I am selling everything you see Camaro related in the photos in one lot (TR4 and MGB sold
separately). If you do not see it in the photo assume I do not have it but there is a trash can full of bright work,
another set of RS tail lights, Rally Sport wheel trim rings, back up lights, 2 sets of hood inserts
(big block small block) and….. The owner is sure the vin and data plates will show up but I am not planning on it.
If they do they will be forwarded to the new owner free of charge. I have a registration for the blue car or motor
and transmission showing the previous California owner. I have a bill of sale for the red shell which is how the
car is being sold. I can make a California title for the red car vin number for an additional $250 and approximately
2 weeks time.
